Membership

While new allotment-holders are always welcome, there is a waiting list for the Trap Ground allotments. Priority is likely to be given to local people, thus avoiding plot-holders having to cross the city, drive to the site, etc. People on the waiting list should not have to wait long, as there is a steady turnover of plots for a variety of reasons.

What does it cost?

Having an allotment is surprisingly cheap. A full plot is £16 a year if paid before 31 March (£20 if paid after that date), while half a plot, which many people find is sufficient, costs £8 a year (£10). On top of this is the annual membership fee for the Association of £8 (£10 if paid after 31 March).
