Harvest Supper
Each year in November we come together to celebrate the harvest supper in St. Margarets Community Hall on Polstead Road in North Oxford. It’s a truly joyful evening, with allotment owners and guests encouraged to bring along a dish to share with their fellow plot holders. Fortunately the courgette season is over by November, although plenty of dishes feature the successful labours from the growing season - numbers are limited and early booking is encouraged.
Seasonal Events
Throughout the year there are a number of informal social gatherings on the allotment over a thermos of tea or bring your own beer and wine. It’s a great chance for growers to get together socially, meet new members and swap stories of the latest challenge interrupting the growing calendar.
